Macomb County voters Tuesday overwhelmingly approved a tax to fund operations at the Detroit Zoo. By nearly a 2-1 margin, county voters approved a 0.1-mill property tax to fund the Royal Oak-based park, which is operated by the Detroit Zoological Society.
