KENCANA PETROLEUM reported Jun 24, 2008 that 100%-owned KENCANA HL sb had been awarded barge conversion work McCONNELL DOWELL CONSTRUCTORS (AUST) pty ltd and BOVIS LEND LEASE pty ltd from a flat-top barge to a pipe-laying barge valued at approximately RM27m.
